at the lake

A couple of weekends ago, we went to Lake Hefner as the sun was setting. This is a crop of one of my favorites of the photos I took.
This is my oldest daughter. She’s a high school senior this year. Isn’t she beautiful?
She thinks I only say that because I’m her mom, but that’s not it. She’s a truly lovely person inside and out. She’s willing to stand up for what she believes in and is compassionate toward others. I’m honored to have been part of her becoming who she’s growing up to be.
